As a group of undergraduates, we connect with other groups at MIT whose areas of interest are impacted by economic research and policy and from whom we can learn as well. We recognize the importance of considering climate health in informing truly successful economic policies and also realize the power that economic analysis can bring as a tool for climate experts. In light of this, we are hosting two climate-focused lectures in 2019: one with Martin Weitzman of Harvard University (3/7) and the other with Lord Nicholas Stern of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment (4/9).
