The MIT Energy, Environment, and Sustainability Network chair is Sarah Simon '72, P.E. The Network is dedicated to educating alumni, their climate groups and the public as well as connecting alums so they can take action on environmental, clean energy, climate and resilience issues.
She is an engineer/manager/idea monger with broad environmental and air quality experience. Deeply passionate about Gaia and how to preserve her wonders for future generations.
Ms. Simon is also a chapter director of Environmental Entreprenuers (E2) - Northeast and partner, Apple Creek Associates Previously, deputy air director at Mass DEP and environmental compliance manager at a company. that made green power from landfill gas.
