Physicist and Remote Sensing specialist with expertise in worldwide projects in agriculture and environmental analysis including several countries in South America, United States, as well as with international and governmental agencies such as The Nature Conservancy, The United Nations, Brazilian National Supply Company, and U.S. Department of Agriculture. Currently a non-tenure Research Assistant Scientist in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Florida, USA. Research interest in climate variability and risk in agriculture and natural resources with emphasis on assessing remote sensing for spatial-temporal vegetation dynamics and their integration with climate variability and change, as well as new technologies of decision support system for monitoring crop and natural resources.
